The NFL Draft is the complete opposite of these things…
Pundits, GM’s, and your know it all brother-in-law would all like to think they have bulletproof logic about why prospect X is a surefire pro-bowler. The fact is that the draft is as much about luck, superstition, innuendo, a flawed analysis of history, bias, and circumstance as it is about logic and evaluation.

We did not figure trades into this mock. Since trades are bound to happen we will gauge our success by pick number as much as by which team picks a certain player.
For example – if for some reason, the Jets trade the third pick and someone else chooses Josh Allen then we will still get partial credit. We’ll elaborate in our post draft mock draft evaluation post.
