Python News Roundup

A round-up of Python related news, because, well…  I am obsessed at this point.

We’ll start with one of my favorite Python related sites – Real Python. They’ve published a great read called Supercharge Your Classes With Python super(). Even if you are up to speed with OOP in Python it is still worth a click.  If you are still learning classes, don’t miss it.

I’ve got a new post about GANs :
GANs, or Generative Adversarial Networks, represent the most exciting technology I have encountered since way back when i got my news from Usenet.

I am working on a Deep Reinforcement Learning project so I jumped at the chance to read Chris Moffitt’s Monte Carlo Simulation with Python.

Speaking of Reinforcement Learning, The Lazy Programmer‘s GitHub Repository has examples of that and much, much more.  Highly Recommended.

I understand that Raymond Hettinger is not everyone’s cup of tea but I love watching videos of him talking about Python. Transforming Code into Beautiful, Idiomatic Python, Dataclasses, and Modern Dictionaries are some of his greatest hits.

Speaking of Mr. Hettinger he is also a great follow on Twitter.  We can also recommend @dabeaz‏, @nedbat, @VictorStinner, and @h4ckfu.
