I’m bringing the TGI Weekly back. If you don’t know, you better ask somebody ( he writes, self-mockingly…) In all seriousness here are some places on the internet that I think are cool and deserve some link love.

The show covers a wide array of Python topics as well as many related topics (e.g. MongoDB, AngularJS, DevOps).
The format is a casual 45 minute conversation with industry experts.
I really dig Flask. It doesn’t try to do too much. That might be an understatement, but a few lines of code gets you running and from there you could build Pintrest….
Flask is a microframework for Python based on Werkzeug, Jinja 2 and good intentions. And before you ask: It’s BSD licensed!
Computerphile is one of my favorite Youtube Channels. They do videos all about computers and computer stuff. Sister channel of Numberphile which is also, well, educational lol…
They cover all types of topics from Ransomware, to how not to code passwords, to encryption, and many many more. This is great to watch on the elliptical machine, if you are likewise inclined to indoor fitness and computer science… ugh.

by Jose Portilla, Data Scientist
This is the class that jump started my Python education. It is professionally produced and taught by a knowledgeable instructor. I learned more from this course than I have from any other source up til now. Highly recommended.
